Yes. We bring the chef, grill, fresh ingredients, and cooking equipment directly to your location. You provide the tables, chairs, plates, and utensils for your guests.
How does the FREE birthday meal work?
Starting March 2027, the Free Birthday Meal offer is available for Monday–Thursday celebrations within one week of the birthday guest’s birthday. One birthday guest receives one complimentary meal per qualifying party. Follow Best Hibachi on social media and share our birthday promotion. Mention the offer when requesting your quote so we can confirm eligibility, the applicable minimum, travel fee, and final total before you reserve.
What is the minimum number of guests?
Our standard minimum is 10 guests.
How much does hibachi at home cost in Long Island?
Our standard adult hibachi meal is $55 per person and includes two protein choices, fried rice, and vegetables. Optional upgrades are available.
How much space do I need for a backyard hibachi party?
We generally need roughly the space of one additional table for our cooking area. You arrange the guest seating based on the size of your party.
Can the hibachi chef set up on grass?
Yes. Grass can work for many backyard setups.
Do you offer teppanyaki-style cooking at home in Long Island?
Yes. Our live chef experience brings teppanyaki-style cooking directly to your home or private party location.

What happens if it rains?
Weather happens. Contact us before the event and we’ll work through the available options with you. Eligible parties may be rescheduled according to our booking policy.

No. Gratuity is not included. 20% is recommended for great service.
