Yes, sometimes. Even one week ahead can work if your date and location match an available chef. For last-minute hibachi booking, consider a weekday, Friday lunch, or Sunday lunch instead of a popular Saturday dinner. You can also ask whether a cancellation has opened a slot. Availability is never guaranteed.
When Should You Book for Holidays and Busy Seasons?
For May–June graduation parties and popular summer weekends, consider checking 1–2 months ahead. For Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, start 2 months or more ahead if your date is fixed. For a regular family weekend, 2–3 weeks is a practical target. Short notice? Ask anyway.

Best Hibachi uses a 5% deposit to secure a confirmed booking. Ask our team to clarify the cancellation and refund terms that apply to your reservation before paying.
What happens if it rains?
Contact us as early as possible. Weather-related rescheduling may be arranged with advance notice, ideally at least a day before the event; confirm the options for your booking. Never use an outdoor propane grill in a home, garage, or other enclosed space.
